Franklin Riboud
Director and Impact Investing Expert

Franklin has more than 15 years of experience in financial investment, business management and public affairs. Prior to founding Stori, he was the Investment Manager for Impact Finance, an impact investment fund, overseeing debt and equity investments in small and medium sized enterprises of the agri-food industry. Before that he worked for the International Labour Organization on policies advancing the labor dimension of corporate social responsibility. Franklin holds a Master of Public Affairs from Sciences Po. He is based in Geneva, Switzerland.

Iván Stola
Director and Public Policy Expert

Iván is an international advisor and policymaker with over 15 years of experience supporting governments in enhancing public sector performance. His work experience includes national governments and international organizations, such as the OECD, where he has assisted numerous public institutions in improving their decision-making processes. In addition to leading Stori, he serves as the Director of the Public Leadership Executive Program at the IE School of Politics, Economics, and Global Affairs, where he is also an adjunct professor. Iván has extensive research and academic expertise in public governance and policymaking. He holds a Master of Public Affairs from Sciences Po Paris.

Isidora Zapata
Regional Development Expert

Isidora is an economist with 15 years of experience supporting countries improve their public policy processes, leading and managing projects in international organizations and the national public sector. Over the last 8 years at the OECD, as project manager and policy analyst, Isidora supported national and subnational governments strengthen their multi-level governance systems and regional development policies, focusing on public investment, subnational finance, and decentralization processes. Isidora led the monitoring of the OECD Recommendation on Public Investment across Levels of Government as well as the development of the recent OECD Recommendation on Regional Development Policy. Isidora holds an M.A in Economics from the Catholic University of Chile and a Master of Public Affairs from Sciences Po Paris. She is currently based in Mexico City.

Flavia Carbonari
Social Inclusion Expert

Flavia has been consulting for multilateral organizations and national governments for 15 years in Latin America, Africa, and East Asia, working on operational, research and technical assistance projects focused on social inclusion, social entrepreneurship, gender and gender- based violence, citizen security and conflict. Flavia holds a MA in Latin American studies from Georgetown University and she has been a non-resident fellow at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs since 2018. She is based in Rosario, Argentina.

Federico Manolio
Impact Measurement Expert

Federico has over 15 years of experience managing projects, monitoring and evaluating programs, as well as advising national and international agencies in the areas of economics, development and citizen security. Among other positions, he served as an M&E consultant at the World Bank, OECD, and national governments. Federico holds a M.Phil. in economics from the Paris School of Economics. He is currently based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Kô Goma

Development Expert

Kô has more than 15 years of cross-industry experience in growth strategy, digital strategy, venture capital, and public affairs. He was Business Strategy Manager at Accenture, where he supported the development of the Tokyo innovation ecosystem, sourced minority investments and acquisition targets for Japanese financial institutions. He advises the International Trade Center on tech sector development in frontier markets. He works with the C-Suite in domestic and global markets to evaluate options for increasing value, assess strategic initiatives, and present concise recommendations on where strategic priorities should lie. Kô holds a Master of Public Affairs from Sciences Po Paris, and a Business Strategy certificate from Insead. He is based in Paris, France.

Daniel Barreda
Risk Management & ESG Expert

Daniel has more than 17 years experience supporting companies to improve Risk Management and Suppliers Compliance with a special focus on leveraging ESG standards on those organizations. He has collaborated with the Chilean Government in different researches on Innovation best practices from Chilean Mining suppliers. He has held different sales positions in Latin America and Europe working for different sectors like Mining, Energy, Transport and Telecommunications. Daniel holds a BA in Law and a MBA from IESE Business School. He is currently based in Madrid, Spain.

Helga Fourcade
Human Rights Expert

Helga has more than 15 years of experience on the implementation monitoring and enforcement systems in different projects at the local, national, and international level, including Development Agencies and the UN system, with a focus on children’s rights programmes. She has also experience in leading research projects and in teaching research methodologies. Helga holds a PhD in Social Sciences and a Master in Social Anthropology.
She is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

César Alvarez

César has more than 20 years of experience as a policymaker and a lawyer. Until 2020, he was the Chief of Staff of Spain´s Department for Energy, Ministry for Ecological Transition. César is Professor of Public Law and Economic Regulation at IE Business School. He has a Ph.D. in Law and Political Science and was a Visiting Scholar at the Institute for Law and Global Policy at Harvard Law School. He is based in Madrid, Spain.

Mauro Pucheta

Labor Regulation Expert

Mauro is an Employment Lawyer and a Lecturer in Law at the University of Kent (UK) where he conducts research on labour regulatory frameworks and policies, human rights and labour policies, climate change and workers’ rights.  His research and consultancy reports pay particular attention to national and regional labour regulations, with a particular focus on the International Labour Organisation’s standards. Mauro is invited regularly to deliver guest lectures at the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organisation (ITC-ILO). He also worked as an Employment Lawyer in Argentina where he advised businesses, trade unions and workers. He holds a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Nottingham (UK), where he investigated how trade blocs regulate labour relationships in light of regional and international standards.  He also completed a LL.M. in European and International Labour Law at Université Paris 1-Sorbonne. Mauro is based in Canterbury, United Kingdom.

Alfredo Forti
Senior Advisor

Alfredo has more than 30 years of experience advising on international public affairs, foreign policy, and human rights. Alfredo is currently international policy advisor at Amsterdam & Partners LLC. Prior to that, he was Deputy Minister of Defence of Argentina and Ambassador to Honduras. In human rights, Alfredo has been a prominent activist in the Latin America truth and justice movement. He has advised several Latin American governments in the design of Truth Commissions charged to investigate past human rights violations. More recently, Alfredo was Senior Advisor to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, in charge of designing a new policy to fight sexual exploitation and abuse by UN military and civilian personnel in field missions. Alfredo Forti holds a BA Degree in International Relations from the American University and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University. He is based in Washington DC, United States.

Diana Mangalagiu
Senior Advisor

Diana has over 20 years of advising, research and teaching experience in sustainability and articulation of environmental and economic policies in corporate and public policy settings. She is Professor at the Environmental Change Institute, University of Oxford and Neoma Business School, and Adjunct Professor at Sciences Po. Diana authored scientific articles and books in fundamental and applied areas, co-chaired the pan-European Environmental Outlook of the UNEP, is a member of the High-level Group of the International Science Council, board member of the Global Climate Forum and an expert for IPBES and the European Commission. She leads advisory, research and development projects with national and regional governments, companies and World Bank, OECD and UN agencies. Diana has a dual background in natural sciences (PhD Artificial Intelligence, Ecole Polytechnique, MSc Physics) and social sciences (MSc Sociology, MSc Management). She is based in Paris, France.
